Microtel Inn & Suites By Wyndham Hoover/Birmingham caught my eye from the outside--a promising start. the excellent shower was a welcome relief during a festive visit to the USA. the convenient location and comfortable mattress were highlights. However, the lack of a refund for a security deposit and an additional charge for a stained towel left a sour taste. A bit of attention to detail in cleanliness would have gone a long way. Despite the setbacks, the hotel's amenities like free WiFi and safes in all guestrooms are notable. the proximity to shopping destinations and attractions like the Galleria Shopping Mall and Alabama Adventure add to its appeal. In conclusion, Microtel Inn & Suites offers a decent stay with some room for improvement.
